Star Wars – The Old Republic Pushed to Spring 2011

Apparently the force is not with the folks over at the recently EA purchased Bioware development studios.  The rumored 2010 release was either premature or completely blown due to recent developments.  BioWare has confirmed that Star Wars: The Old Republic will not be released in 2010 as hoped.

According to a post by Sean Dahlberg, BioWare’s Community Manager, on the company’s official forums, it will be released in the Spring of 2011:

We can’t wait to share more about the game with you as we progress through the year, so make sure you stay tuned to the official website for details.
