Star Wars: The Old republic is PC Only :(
Console gamers that were hoping for a port over of Bioware’s in development and highly anticipated MMO, Star War: The Old republic, are in for a sad bit of news. In a recent interview with Bioware’s Daniel Erickson, he stated quite clearly that it may not even be possible to port this MMO title over to a console platform. To make matters more disheartening they also confirmed that they hadn’t even discussed the possibility of doing this. To add a bit more dirt to the grave Erickson expanded on this by stating that the PC is the natural environment for a game with a keyboard and mouse control system.
Power up those old PCs and shelf that console folks if you plan on playing this one. Or if you don’t have a PC with the juice to run this one never fear, you have until Q2 of 2011 to get a PC that is up to specs.
