Wonder Woman keeps her classic hotty outfit in DCU
Wonder Woman has been getting quite a bit of buzz over her recent costume change created by none other than Comic Book legend Jim Lee. Apparently in the 600th issue of the DC comics Wonder Woman comic book series the hot Amazon Princess began to sport her new outfit. Now this may seem a bit unrelated to gaming news I know, but for those of you that had a less than pure thought or two over the years of your adolescence thinking of our gorgeous Wonder Woman this is a big deal. The new costume is a tad more conservative than her previous famous outfit, well more than a tad I suppose. Actually to be more accurate, it basically has poor Wonder Woman joining the ranks of the Spandex crew of heroes. Again, I know you are wondering how does this relate to online gaming. Well you see now, Mr. Jim Lee also happens to be the art director for the MMO DC Universe Online being produced by Sony Online Entertainment. Eeek.
Now that I’ve scared you with thoughts of a DC universe with a fully clothed Wonder Woman I’ll give you the good news… According to what a Sony Online PR rep told Big Download when asked if the new uniform would be in DC Universe Online the rep replied simply: “At this point, no.” The rep did confirm that the character will appear in the game as an NPC along with other popular DC Comics heroes but she will be wearing her classic outfit! Woohoo! Long legs and cleavage win!
